The purpose of the Parents Association (P.A.) is to promote the interests of the students in the school in co-operation with the Board of Management, principal, teachers and students. The two broad tasks of a Parents Association are:
The Parents Association is a very important link between our school and the parents, and acts as a support for parents in the school. The Parents Association, in conjunction with the principal and staff, organises and helps with activities and events such as: Themed Non-Uniform Days, Christmas Event with Santa visit, Book Fair, Easter Disco, Fun Day and lots more. The Parents Association's main function is to organise fundraising events to help fund school Activities and Events. Throughout the years the Parents Association have aided the school with funding in many areas and in recent years they have raised funds to aid transport for school activities/sports, Santa’s Visit to the school, School Tours, Workshops, Purchase of 3 Children’s Laptops, Games/activities for the annual Fun Day and lots more.
- To advise the principal or the Board on matters relating to the school
- To adopt a programme of activities which will promote the involvement of parents in the operation of the school, in consultation with the principal.

Our Children's Easter Disco was a great success and a great time was had by all. A big thank you to all the families from the school and wider community that supported it. Also many thanks to Syddan GFC for hosting the event and to Fiachra Ross for begin a great D.J.!

ST. PATRICK’S DAY THEMED – NON-UNIFORM/WACKY HAIR DAY – The school was a sea of green, full of Leprechauns and lots of green wacky hair!
SANTA’S CHRISTMAS GATHERING –A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL! Santa Arrived on his sleigh and then greeted all the children at his special grotto.

HALLOWEEN THEMED NON-UNIFORM DAY
There were a lot of very scary monsters, witches, skeletons etc. on the play ground that day and even a sighting of a large mushroom walking around!
